Please mark your calendar and join with us as we celebrate our 4th Victorian Christmas at the beautiful, historic, Daniel Webster Estate and Heritage Center in Marshfield !

One can never begin to think of the Holidays too early......so plans are being thought out and our Interior Designers and Floral Designers are preparing to create an all-new and very exciting Christmas Celebration to share with our friends from the South Shore, North Shore, Boston and Cape Cod areas.

This year our lovely Master Bedroom will be decorated for the first time............it will be spectacular ! The room was decorated for the 2008 Pilgrim Hall Designer's Show House by Janet Allen and Lee Barlow of Janet Allen Interiors, Plymouth, MA.

The inspiration for this room came from the Victorian's fascination with the East ~ specifically the Silk Road. Brunschwig & Fils adapted the pattern for the wallcovering from a hand-painted silk coverlet in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Vines, birds, flowers and leaves combine in colors of moss green, celadon, gold, blues and persimmon on a background one can only describe as "sea mist blue". The addition of a Christmas tree, tablescape and Holiday accoutrements will create a beautiful bedchamber fit for the Lady-of-the-House.
